Who can join?
Anyone with a HackerDNA account. There is no application or approval step.
How much can I earn?
30% commission on every payment during a referred subscription's first 12 months. Track exact amounts in your partner dashboard.
When do I get paid?
Commissions enter a 30-day review (we screen for refunds, chargebacks, and fraud), then pay out on NET-60 terms via PayPal or bank transfer once your balance reaches €50. Plan for ~90 days from a customer's payment to your first payout - monthly cadence after that.
How are conversions tracked?
When someone clicks your unique link, a cookie is set. If they sign up and pay for Pro or Max within the attribution window, the commission is yours - even if they take a few days to decide.
Can I promote on YouTube?
Yes. Walkthroughs, lab solutions, course reviews and beginner tutorials all work great. Put your unique link in the video description.
Are there any rules?
No paid search on the HackerDNA brand name, no spam, no misleading claims. Disclose the affiliate relationship in your content - a simple #ad or "affiliate link" satisfies FTC and ASA rules. Full terms are in the partner dashboard.
Do I get the badges in-app?
Yes - paste your affiliate handle into your HackerDNA Settings page, then every paid referral grants +25 XP and counts toward the Recruiter badge tiers (1, 5, 25, 100).
Where is the affiliate dashboard?
At affiliates.hackerdna.com. The "Become a partner" button on this page takes you to the signup page, and from there you can log in any time to grab your link and see your stats.
How long does commission last per referral?
12 months from each referral's first paid subscription. After that, that referral's commission ends - but new referrals you bring in each start their own 12-month window. Active partners keep compounding by continuing to refer.
Do refunds count against me?
If a referred customer refunds, disputes the charge, or the payment is invalidated as fraud, the commission is reversed.
Can I refer my own second account?
No. Self-referrals and fraudulent signups are detected and rejected. Lifetime ban applies.
How long does attribution last?
90 days. If someone clicks your link and signs up and pays within 90 days, the commission is yours - even if they take weeks to decide.
Which plans qualify for commission?
All of them. Pro monthly, Pro yearly, Max monthly, Max yearly - every paid subscription a referral takes out generates 30% recurring commission for you.
